There were 2,130 ninth grade students enrolled in Livingston Parish schools in the 2021-22 school year, 6.6% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Denham Springs Freshman High School welcomed the most ninth grade students in the parish.

Within Livingston Parish schools, the most students were found in ninth grade classes, while 12th grade classes were the smallest.

Statewide, Livingston Parish ranked 9th highest in enrollment numbers. It was ranked 10th highest the year before.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
