There were 10 American Indian students enrolled in Washington Parish schools in the 2022-23 school year, 28.6% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Washington Parish welcomed 6,625 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.2% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the parish.
