There were 102 Asian students enrolled in Tangipahoa Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 2.9% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that Tangipahoa Parish School District welcomed 19,377 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 0.5% of the student body to be the third least represented ethnicity in the district.

Tangipahoa Parish School District roughly covers schools within Tangipahoa Parish and has a main office in Amite.

Among the 35 schools in Tangipahoa Parish School District, Hammond High Magnet School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 15 students.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
