On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Oak Forest Academy standout Alec Sparks’ current college team, the Nicholls State Colonels, won 10-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northern Illinois Huskies.

The game took place at Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field. This was their second matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Colonels’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 11 a.m. at Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field against Northern Illinois Huskies.
