There were 19,377 students enrolled in Tangipahoa Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 0.8% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 51% of them were boys, and 49% were girls.

The most represented ethnicity among Tangipahoa Parish School District students was Black or African American, with 46.6% of students identifying as Black or African American.
