House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) addressed the impact of the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) on American citizens alongside Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.), Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (R-Mich.), Congressman Jimmy Patronis (R-Fla.), and Frank Patti Jr., a constituent of Rep. Patronis. The discussion highlighted key reforms, including air traffic control, school choice, and the elimination of taxes on overtime.

Leader Scalise emphasized ongoing efforts to pass President Trump's agenda: "We are not done innovating, and we're not done winning. We are just getting started." He acknowledged Donald Trump's significant role in passing the OBBB, stating that Trump was directly involved in ensuring its success.

Scalise praised the bill's benefits for hardworking Americans, mentioning Frank Patti Jr.'s family business as an example of the American Dream. He criticized Democrats for opposing the bill: "If you just spent all your days listening to the lies told by the Democrats, you would be living in a parallel universe."

Scalise also addressed air traffic control reform and school choice provisions within the OBBB. He criticized outdated technology at airports and expressed confidence in modernizing systems under Trump's leadership. Regarding school choice, he posed a challenge to California Governor Gavin Newsom about allowing low-income families access to better educational opportunities.

Looking ahead, Scalise mentioned upcoming legislation focused on digital currency and defense appropriations: "We're going to keep delivering...President Trump is in the White House. Republicans are running Congress."
